We design every envelope to create an immersive storytelling experience. Each envelope typically takes about 15-minutes to read, depending on your reading speed.
You can think of each envelope as a chapter, with all the cliff hangers and OMG-moments you'd typically see. The big difference is that our chapters come in red envelopes full of bite-sized lore dumps, clues and hints, gorgeous art, and handwritten love letters.
Every envelope's exact contents is a surprise, but here's some of the found objects to expect:
- A letter from the story, handwritten or styled in character-specific script
- Worldbuilding found objects (ie. maps, recipes, royal decrees, narrative updates)
- Frameable art from real artists including character portraits, posters, and doodles
- Mini puzzles, codes, or hidden clues for readers to decode
- Stickers, postcards, and paper goodies
- And more
Everything is printed on really lovely stationery, too! And, if you can believe it, made lovingly by hand and packed by a real (tired) human. We're proud to put artists and writers first.
